The Thrashers signed Carl Klingberg and Danick Paquette to entry-level pro contracts on Monday.

Klingberg, the Thrashers’ second-round pick (34th overall) in 2009, appeared in 42 games with Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League last season. The 19-year-old left wing had 13 points (six goals, seven assists). He also scored one goal in five games for bronze-medalist Sweden in the World Junior Championships.

Paquette, the Thrashers’ third-round pick (64th overall) in 2008 played 64 games for the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior League last season. The 19-year-old right wing had 65 points (36 goals, 29 assists).
