The Thrashers on Sunday re-assigned Arturs Kulda to AHL Chicago, enabling the defenseman to continue playing during the NHL’s two-week break for the Olympics.

Kulda appeared in two games for the Thrashers after he was recalled last Thursday. He collected his first NHL point with an assist on Saturday against Chicago. Kulda played 12 minutes against the Blackhawks and nine minutes in his debut against Minnesota on Friday.
