This will be the lone meeting between the Thrashers and the Flames this season.

The Thrashers have lost two of their last three games and are 1-1 on this four-game road trip to Florida and Canada.

Ilya Kovalchuk had one assist in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs, giving him 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in his past 17 games. The captain has registered points in 12 of those 17 games.

Johan Hedberg, who relieved Ondrej Pavelec for the third period Monday, stopped all six shots he faced. He is second in the NHL in save percentage at .933, trailing only the Sabres' Ryan Miller by .002. Hedberg is also fifth in the league in goals-against average at 2.16.

The Flames have also lost two of their past three games, including a 2-1 loss to the Kings on Monday.

Jarome Iginla leads the Flames in scoring with 30 points (17 goals, 13 assists). Heading into Tuesday play, his 17 goals are tied for sixth in the league.
