Wheeler, Model seeking new coaches
Wheeler in Cobb County and Model in Floyd County are looking for new coaches.
Wheeler has let go Tom Flugum, who was winless in his two seasons. Flugum had coached for years in Cobb County, most recently at Sprayberry.
Model announced on Monday that Randy Surrett has been let go after a 1-9 finish in his only season at the Floyd County school. Surrett, a Cedartown native, had been an assistant coach at Woodland in Cartersville.
