Statesboro posted a narrow 63-60 win over Brooklet Southeast Bulloch in a Georgia boys basketball matchup on Dec. 28.

The start wasn’t the problem for Brooklet Southeast Bulloch, as it began with a 22-21 edge over Statesboro through the end of the first quarter.

The Blue Devils kept a 26-24 intermission margin at the Yellowjackets’ expense.

Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with Statesboro and Brooklet Southeast Bulloch locked in a 32-32 stalemate.

The Blue Devils got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 31-28 edge.
