Class AAAAA

Redan 71, Bradwell Institute 50: At Fort Valley State, Aneesah Daniels scored 18 points for defending Class AAAAA champion Redan (30-0), which trailed in the second quarter but led by 25 in the third. Redan's Alisha Andrews made four 3-pointers and scored 17 points. Redan has won 57 straight games. Bradwell (29-2) had won 21 straight games. Bradwell's leading scorer was Mariah Maternik with 18 points. Redan is in the semifinals for the fifth time in six seasons.

Milton 54, Mill Creek 47: At West Georgia in Carrollton, Milton advanced to the semifinals behind Nikki Dixon's game-high 25 points. Erin Brundage and Tori Waldner each added 10 points. Moneshia Simmon led Mill Creek with 19 points.

Norcross 65, Campbell 54: Also at West Georgia, Diamond DeShields and Briana Jordan scored 16 points each to lead the Blue Devils. Chakecia Miller scored a game-high 20 points for Campbell.

Class AAA

Carver-Atlanta 43, Franklin County 38: At the Northwest Georgia Trade Center in Dalton, Carver's Bria Dorsey made a layup with 53 seconds left, then two free throws with seven seconds on the clock, to put the Panthers (26-5) into their first semifinal. Dorsey led Carver with 12 points. Carver held on after Franklin came back from a 20-4 first-half deficit to make it 39-38 with 2:26 remaining. Kortnee Goss and Morgan Hart scored 11 and 10, respectively, for Franklin (18-11).

Columbia 46, East Hall 17: Also at the Northwest Trade Center, Zuri Frost scored 12 points and Akila McDonald added 11 as the Eagles (23-7) held the Vikings scoreless in the third period to advance to the semifinal. Morgan Jackson's eight points paced East Hall (23-7).

LaGrange 66, Northside-Columbus 64: At Columbus State, Arneshia Williams' rebound and basket with seven seconds left provided the winning points for the Grangers (21-9). Williams' heroics were made possible by Steara Mitchell's 3-pointer, which tied the game at 64 with a minute left. Angel Penn led the Grangers with 17 points. Williams and Mitchell added 16 and 14, respectively. Northside was led by Khamiyah Crawford's 17 points, while Christina Brown had 15 and Zakia Williams scored 14.

Kendrick 61, Spalding 28: Also at Columbus State, Deshanti Lewis led all scorers with 17 points and Jazmin Thomas added 13 to send the Cherokees to the semifinals.

Class AA

Laney 84, Thomasville 54: At Georgia Southwestern in Americus, Alexi Jester led four Wildcats in double figures with 24 points as Laney won easily. Laney (26-3) led 46-31 at the half and outscored Thomasville 23-8 in the third quarter. Dekoya Mack had 16 points, Chelsea Maultsey 14 and Mykayla Jones 13 for Laney. Audreka Davis and Kierrica Spencer each had 11 points for Thomasville (24-4).

Vidalia 65, Mitchell County 35: Also at Georgia Southwestern, Shekinah Henry scored a game-high 22 points and Courtney Williams added 13 as the Indians (30-0) remained undefeated. Vidalia led 16-3 after the first quarter and 44-12 at the half. Kay Cooper led Mitchell County (19-8) with 13 points.

Class A

Wesleyan 92, St. Francis 45: At Marietta High School, Erin Hall scored 18 points to lead five Wesleyan players in double figures as the Wolves rolled to a quarterfinal victory over their Region 7-A rival. Grace Leah Baughn scored 13 points, Holli Wilkins had 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Kennington Groff and Jordan Frazier scored 11 points each for Wesleyan (26-4), which is trying to win its seventh state title in nine years. Diamond Henderson scored 18 points to lead St. Francis (18-12).

SW Atlanta Christian 42, Paideia 38: Also at Marietta High, Shavontae Naylor scored twice in the lane in the final 10 seconds to lead Southwest Atlanta Christian (22-5). Naylor gave her team a 40-38 lead on a short jumper with 10 seconds to play, then stole the inbounds pass and made a layup for the four-point win. She finished with a game-high 12 points. Alex Abraham and Sophie Darch scored 10 points each for Paideia (25-4).
