Friday’s outing turned into an endurance test that Quitman Brooks County passed in a 26-18 victory at Bainbridge’s expense for a Georgia high school football victory on September 16.

The two teams dueled to an even start, with Quitman Brooks County and Bainbridge settling for a 7-7 first-quarter knot.

The Trojans’ offense darted in front for a 19-7 lead over the Bearcats at halftime.

Both teams were blanked in the third quarter.

The Bearcats outpointed the Trojans 11-7 in the final quarter, but it was not enough to close the gap.
