Marietta found the tipping point, and leaned on it to knock off Powder Springs Hillgrove 14-10 for a Georgia high school football victory on October 7.

Marietta opened with a 7-0 advantage over Powder Springs Hillgrove through the first quarter.

The Hawks came from behind to grab the advantage 10-7 at halftime over the Blue Devils.

Marietta broke in front at the beginning of the final quarter with a 14-10 lead over Powder Springs Hillgrove.

The scoreboard was in hibernation in the fourth quarter, with neither team scoring.
