The 32nd edition of the AJC Super 11 -- the top 11 high school football players in the state of Georgia.

Jamyest Williams, Grayson, senior, running back. Williams transferred to Grayson after earning first-team all-state honors as an “athlete” at Archer last season. He rushed for 1,339 yards and 23 touchdowns on offense, recorded 20 tackles, eight assists, two interceptions and nine pass break-ups on defense, and had 250 yards on kick returns. Williams is the consensus No. 8 cornerback recruit nationally. | More on the Super 11

He is 21-5 in two seasons as a starter. He had 32 tackles, five passes broken up, one interception and a fumble recovery on defense, and 24 catches for 457 yards and three TDs on offense. Andrew Thomas, Pace Academy, senior, lineman. Thomas was a first-team all-state selection in 2015 and is the consensus top offensive-lineman recruit in Georgia, the No. 55 prospect overall nationally. He was a two-way starter on Pace Academy’s first state-championship team. Thomas is best known for his pass protection, but he also had 59 total tackles and a sack on defense last season. | More on the Super 11

Andrew Thomas, Pace Academy, senior, lineman. Thomas was a first-team all-state selection in 2015 and is the consensus top offensive-lineman recruit in Georgia, the No. 55 prospect overall nationally. He was a two-way starter on Pace Academy’s first state-championship team. Nate McBride, Vidalia, senior, linebacker. McBride missed his junior season because of an injury suffered in a car accident. In 2014, he recorded 128 total tackles (five for losses), three sacks and three interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns. On offense, he rushed for 697 yards and 10 touchdowns on 68 carries. McBride is rated the No. 2 inside-linebacker prospect in the country. | More on the Super 11

He is rated the top defensive tackle in Georgia and sixth nationally. He is rated the top defensive tackle in Georgia and sixth nationally. Richard LeCounte, Liberty County, senior, quarterback. LeCounte, a two-time all-state selection, is the nation’s consensus No. 1 recruit at safety and the No. 2 prospect in Georgia. He finished with 100 total tackles for the second consecutive season and had two interceptions, four fumble recoveries and 10 passes defensed. On offense, LeCounte had 506 yards passing, 865 yards rushing and 564 yards receiving. | More on the Super 11

He finished with 100 total tackles for the second consecutive season and had two interceptions, four fumble recoveries and 10 passes defensed. J.D. King, Fitzgerald, senior, running back. King was the state’s leading rusher last season for a team that went 13-2 and was the Class AA runner-up. He rushed for 2,432 yards and 33 touchdowns on 341 carries. He had 1,559 yards rushing as a sophomore. He was 169-of-282 passing for 2,821 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior for a team that reached the Class AA semifinals and finished 12-2.
