John Carroll collected 302 rushing yards on 30 carries and its defense held Father Lopez to under 150 yards of total offense and just 6 first downs as the Rams cruised to a 51-0 victory Friday night at McGuire Stadium.

John Carroll quarterback Justin Osking rushed for 115 yards and four touchdowns and threw for 100 yards and a touchdown. Evan Frazer added another 110 rushing yards and a touchdown.

KEY PLAY: On its first play from scrimmage, John Carroll nearly scored a touchdown on a trick play. Wide receiver JJ Stevens received the ball on a reverse and attempted to loft a pass downfield, but the receiver was unable to come down with it. However, Osking followed with a 74-yard TD run by running over and dragging multiple defenders.

QUOTES: "It was nice to get some of our guys back and get back on track. The kids really practiced hard this week. (They) did a great job of pulling together." - John Carroll coach Kevin Wald on rebounding after a tough loss to Martin County, and getting players back from suspension.
