In a Class AAAAA quarterfinal series, host Newnan clinched with a 7-5 win in Game 3.
The Cougars led 3-0 after a first inning in which Brookwood made two errors. Newnan expanded the lead to 5-0 in the fourth. Clint Clark led off the seventh inning with a solo homer to give the Cougars their final margin of victory. Kevin Scott hit a two-run homer for Newnan.
Brookwood was led at the plate by Trey Martin, who went 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Steven Wellborn earned the win for Newnan, throwing six innings, while Mark Frazier got the save after tossing a scoreless seventh.

Spalding 16, Cartersville 9: Austin Hurt threw six and 2/3 innings in relief to earn the win and also homered for Spalding. Zach Lerner hit a solo shot for the Jaguars as well. After visiting Cartersville scored five runs in the first, Spalding scored eight in their half of the inning.
Class AA
Lovett 9, Jeff Davis 4: The visiting Lions led 5-1 after two innings and were led by two-hit games by Jack Geraghty, Clayton Lau and Robert Curry. Dylan Malinowski earned the win, while Grant Sebastian threw three innings and allowed no earned runs.
