Sharpsburg Trinity Christian didn’t flinch, finally repelling Fayetteville Whitewater 27-23 on October 7 in Georgia football action.

Fayetteville Whitewater showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 14-0 advantage over Sharpsburg Trinity Christian as the first quarter ended.

The Wildcats took a 17-7 lead over the Lions heading to the halftime locker room.

Both teams were blanked in the third quarter.

It took a 20-6 rally, but the Lions were up to the task, grabbing the lead for good in the fourth quarter.

In recent action on September 29, Fayetteville Whitewater faced off against Fayetteville Fayette County and Sharpsburg Trinity Christian took on Atlanta North Clayton on September 23 at Atlanta North Clayton High School. For more, click here.
