Cedartown hasn't had a winning football season since 2003. Last week, the Bulldogs hired Scott Hendrix, the offensive coordinator from that team, to replace Mark Loundermilk.

Hendrix most recently had been offensive coordinator at Pierce County. He left Cedartown in 2004 to become head coach at Leeds in Alabama, where he was 6-14 in two seasons.

During Hendrix's seven seasons in Cedartown, the Bulldogs were 56-18. Cedartown is 19-43 since.
