The Lowe brothers of Pope High School are now professional athletes.

Third baseman Joshua Lowe, the Tampa Bay Rays’ 2016 first-round draft pick, signed and will begin his pro career with the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Rays.

“I think the Rays organization is blessed to have two Lowe brothers,” Josh told the Tampa Bay Times. “I know we’re going to give it everything that we have every single day. We’re going to play our guts out there on the field.”
