Four Georgia high school basketball teams will enter the post-season undefeated as region tournaments begin this week.
The only boys team without a loss is North Cobb Christian (25-0), the top-ranked team in Class A. Washington County's bid for an undefeated regular season was ended last week in an upset loss to Hancock Central.
McEachern (25-0), ranked No. 1 in Class AAAAA and seeking its first-ever state championship, is one of three girls teams that are undefeated. The others are second-ranked Parkview (25-0) of AAAAA and Washington County (24-0) of AAA.
Georgia's 10 top-ranked high school basketball teams held their positions this week. Region tournaments will determine the qualifiers and seeds for the state tournament, which begins Feb. 24.
