The Atlanta Falcons recognize a high school varsity tackle or girls flag football coach across Georgia and Alabama throughout the 2021 season with the Coach of the Week award, presented by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, for their work in making a difference in student-athletes lives on-and-off the field.
The Week 7 nominees include two state title winners and a girls flag football coach (the first of the season). Vote now for the nominees and visit the AJC Wednesdays for final results::
- Adam Clack, has 5 seasons at Milton High School, winning a state title in Class 7A in 2018.
- Zach Corcoran started the girls flag football team at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School in Columbus in 2020, leading them to a GHSA playoff appearance.
- John Reid, has coach championship teams in three states, including 5A titles in Rome in 2016 and ‘17.
Each winning head coach of the Falcons Coach of the Week, presented by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, receives a $1,000 grant for their program, a commemorative Falcons item and recognition from the Falcons and AJC at a game this season.
