Members of the current Atlanta Hawks roster welcomed their new teammate Trae Young to the team Thursday after the 2018 NBA Draft.

Young was drafted fifth-overall Thursday by the Dallas Mavericks, but was traded to the Hawks for the Draft’s third-overall pick Luka Doncic and a 2019 first-round draft pick.

Taurean Prince and Kent Bazemore were two Hawks who Tweeted their excitement for Young coming to Atlanta.

The Hawks also drafted former Maryland shooting guar Kevin Huerter with the 19th overall pick and former Villanova power forward Omari Spellman with the 30th overall pick.
