The Hawks have recalled John Jenkins from the NBA Development League and the guard will be available for tonight’s game against the Wizards.

Jenkins played four games for the Bakersfield (Calif.) Jam after being assigned last week. In the stint, all starts, he averaged 21.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists in 36.3 minutes. He had had 18 points, four rebounds, three assists and zero turnovers in 38 minutes in a loss to the visiting Santa Clara Warriors Thursday.

Rookie Dennis Schroder will remain in the D-League and Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said the team will continue to monitor his progress.

Gustavo Ayon (left ankle sprain, left leg contusion) will be inactive tonight.
