Hawks recall Cunningham from D-League
The Hawks recalled guard Jared Cunningham from the NBA Development League Sunday.
The Hawks had open roster spots with the injuries to Al Horford (out, torn right pectoral), John Jenkins (out, lower back pain) and DeMarre Carroll (out, sprained right thumb). Carroll did not make the trip to Orlando for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Cunningham played for the Bakersfield (Calif.) Jam Saturday night and had a double-double of 25 points and 10 assists in a 115-93 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors. Cunningham also had five rebounds in 34 minutes.
