The Atlanta Hawks will hold cheerleader auditions for the 2017-2018 basketball season on Saturday at Philips Arena.

Registration is open on the Hawks' Basketball Academy website and is open to anyone 19 years old or older. Registration is free and ends on Thursday.

The tryouts will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Philips Arena Practice Court.

Dancing and tumbling experience are recommended, but not required.

Those who apply must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D., be a student or work a part-time or full-time job and be able to attend rehearsals at least two days a week.

If unable to register before the event, those interested can register for $45 at the door beginning at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday.
