Even though the Atlanta Hawks trailed by more than 20 points near the end of the Monday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, Malcolm Delaney kept fighting.

In the fourth quarter, Delaney shot over Nets’ Trevor Booker despite a block attempt by the 6-foot-8 forward.

Delaney, who also drew a foul on the play, recorded six points and one assist in his five minutes on the floor against the Nets.

The Hawks went on to lose Monday’s game 110-90 to the Nets.

The Hawks (5-18) play their next game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Orlando’s Amway Center.
