Atlanta Hawks rookie John Collins got in foul trouble eary in Monday’s 110-107 loss to the Boston Celtics, but the power he showed at the rim more than made up for it.

Collins, who had been relatively quiet until the second half, dunked twice on Monday with his first coming late in the third. Isaiah Taylor missed the shot after driving inside the paint and then Collins went airborne for the dunk.

Collins played 16 minutes on Monday and recorded eight points and one rebound.

After two missed connections at the rim later in the third, Collins dunked early in the fourth quarter.

The Hawks travel to Detroit to play the Pistons for their next game on Friday at 7 p.m.
