During the third quarter of Wednesday’s 123-110 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, Kent Bazemore scored 12 points and brought the Atlanta Hawks within one point of the Hornets.

After trailing by as many as 15 points in the first half, Hawks were able to cut the Hornets’ lead 77-76, but Hornets’ point guard Kemba Walker made a comeback impossible, scoring 18 third quarter points. The Hawks trailed 97-84 entering the fourth quarter.

Bazemore finished Wednesday’s game with a team-high of 25 points, followed by Marco Belinelli with 22.
