The Atlanta Hawks ownership learned on Monday that Paul Millsap is not expected to exercise his player option for next season.

Millsap’s player option would be worth $21.47 million if he decided to stay with the Hawks through the 2017-2018 season.

Millsap still has time to opt in before June 23.
