Gustavo Ayon will miss Friday’s game against the Wizards and likely Saturday’s game agaisnt the Knicks.

The forward/center is out with a left ankle sprain and left leg contusion. He missed Tuesday’s game against the Thunder. Ayon was injured late in the fourth quarter of last week’s game against the Cavaliers. Ayon had six points, seven rebounds and three assists in the game before being injured.

“I think it’s going to be a couple more days,” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said.

Ayon missed the first eight games of the season with a right shoulder injury suffered in the Hawks’ first exhibition game.
