The Atlanta Hawks announced Thursday Tyler Cavanaugh was assigned to the Erie BayHawks, the team’s G League affiliate.

Cavanaugh, who was recalled from the BayHawks on Sunday, has started five games for the BayHawks and averaged 18.4 points and 9.6 rebounds.

In 30 games with the Hawks, Cavanaugh averaged points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.8 minutes.

On Dec. 18, the Hawks announced Cavanaugh was signed to a multi-year contract after previously being signed as a two-way player in November.
