How the game was won: Kyle Korver scored 16 of his 27 points in the second half, and the Hawks rallied from a poor defensive first half to snap a two-game losing streak and move to 2-0 at home.

Turning point: After surrendering 58.7 percent shooting and falling behind 61-48 by halftime, Atlanta (2-3) turned up the pressure and outscored the Knicks 27-13 in the third quarter. A 9-0 run to close the period was key, and sub Dennis Schroder had two of his five steals in that stretch in his second straight solid game (11 points).

Number: 6. Korver was 6-of-9 from 3-point distance, and Atlanta shot 6-of-12 from afar in the second half after going 3-of-10 in the first half.

Next: The Hawks will meet the Knicks (2-5) Monday in New York before returning to Atlanta for games against the Jazz and Heat.
