Harrison Butker included in NFL’s best under-25 starting lineup

Former Georgia Tech kicker Harrison Butker was included in ESPN's NFL best under-25 starting lineup.

Butker’s 38 field goals last season were the most by a rookie in league annals, according to ESPN’s lineup.

To make the list, ESPN polled 43 of its NFL Insiders which included former players, reporters, and and analysts. Butker received 55.8 percent of those votes.

The Kansas City Chiefs kicker is Georgia Tech’s all-time leading scorer with 337 career points. He also ranks third in school history in career field-goal percentage (.717).

ESPN named Wil Lutz, former Georgia State kicker and New Orleans Saints kicker, Butker’s runner-up.

ESPN’s NFL best under-25 starting lineup includes Georgia native and Houston Texans quarterback DeShaun Watson. Atlanta Falcons linebacker Deion Jones and former Bulldog and Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley also made the ESPN’s list.
