Former Greater Atlanta Christian star Malcolm Brogdon, now with the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks, had his No. 15 jersey retired by the University of Virginia Monday.

Last year's ACC player of the year and defensive player of the year was honored during a pre-game ceremony in Charlottesville, Va., prior to Cavaliers’ matchup against Miami (Fla.).

Brogdon was the 2011 Atlanta Journal-Constitution state player of the year and led Greater Atlanta Christian to two straight state titles.

Brogdon led the Cavaliers to a pair of ACC regular season crowns and four straight NCAA tournament appearances, including a run to the Elite Eight last season.

Brogdon is just the eighth Virginia player to have his jersey lifted up in the rafters.
