It could cost more to park your car than to purchase a ticket to a Hawks playoff game.
There are plenty of tickets available for Games 3 and 4 of the first-round series against the Pacers at Philips Arena — and they’re cheap.
A search of the website StubHub on Thursday afternoon showed 1,096 tickets available for Saturday’s Game 3 for $12. There were 1,782 tickets available for Monday’s Game 4 for $9.99.
On the Atlanta Craigslist site, tickets in the 300 seating level were going for $20 for Game 3 and $18 for Game 4.
According to the Ticketmaster website there were a variety of tickets available for Game 3, ranging from $20-340. There also were a number of tickets for Game 4, ranging from $20-190.
You can call it a 'must-win': After dropping their first two road games, the Hawks are desperate for a victory in Game 3. No Hawks team has overcome an 0-2 deficit to win a playoff series (0-for-17).
Coach Larry Drew stopped short of calling Saturday’s home game a must-win.
“We recognize the importance of this game,” Drew said. “However you want to phrase it, it’s a very important game. Coming back home, as I told our guys, we are not going to look too far ahead. The most important game is the next game. We’ve played this team well, particularly in our building. I want them brimming with confidence like the way they were before we went into Indiana for Game 1.”
Etc.: Drew said he and his staff are considering lineup changes for Game 3, but that no decisions have been made. … The Hawks were hit with three technical fouls in Game 2 on Wednesday, more evidence of their well-documented frustration with the officiating. Devin Harris, Al Horford and Ivan Johnson were the offenders. "Frustration is starting to be an enemy of ours," Drew said. "This is the playoffs. We can't allow our frustrations to take us out of what we want to do." … The Hawks took 23 3-point attempts in Game 2, making nine. Drew said that number of attempts is too many for a road game, but within the range he'd like to see at home.
