The 2008 Masters Tournament kicks off in Augusta, Ga.

A heavy fog settles over Augusta National. The fog caused a delay of play of about an hour.

For the second straight year, four-time champion Arnold Palmer kicks off the Masters tournament as the honorary starter. Palmer, who won the Masters in 1958, 1960, 1962 and 1964, participated in Wednesday's Par 3 contest with former champions, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player.
