When it comes to picking the winner for the 79th Masters, everyone has an opinion.

So do we.

Here are the choices from the AJC team covering the event at Augusta National Golf Club all week.

Jeff Schultz

Winner: Jordan Spieth

Dark horse: Matt Kuchar

Why: Spieth came close last year and he's playing as well as anybody right now, but Kuchar has made Sunday in Augusta interesting a few times.

—-

Tom Stinson

Winner: Rory McIlroy

Dark horse: Lee Westwood

Why: This is the only major to elude McIlroy and his time is now. Sure, Westwood's 41 but he shows up almost every Sunday here.

—-

Chip Towers

Winner: Jason Day

Dark horse: Chris Kirk

Why: Day finished second the first time he teed it up here and is the No. 1 overall player on the tour statistically.

—-

Doug Roberson

Winner: Adam Scott

Dark horse: Tiger Woods

Why: It's too easy to pick Rory McIlroy or Bubba Watson. Considering that he hasn't won here in seven years, Woods should be considered a dark horse.

—-

Ray Cox

Winner: Phil Mickelson

Dark horse: Keegan Bradley

Why: One last hurrah for the three-time champ, coming off a solid performance at Houston. I've had this picture in my head for a while of Bradley in a green jacket.
