They could be heard from time to time those Georgia Tech fans.

It was a perfect pairing for the final day of the Tour Championship as Matt Kuchar and Roberto Castro strolled East Lake Golf Club as they had many times in the past playing golf for the Yellow Jackets.

The occasional ‘Go Jackets’ came from the gallery. Kuchar got an especially loud ovation when he chipped in from off the green for birdie on the 18th hole. Both started the final round at even par. Kuchar’s last-shot birdie got him to 1-under par. Castro finished where he started at even par.

“We’ve played together a couple times a year,” Castro said. “It was special today with two Tech guys at East Lake at the Tour Championship. That makes for a pretty special day.”
