Atlanta’s Wolf Creek Golf Club announced late Thursday that it will close until at least April 9 after an employee had contacted with a person who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

In an email to customers, the course wrote:

“We learned this week than an employee of the course had been in contact with someone who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. Our employee as well as other staff members who had close contact with them will be following CDC guidelines and will be in a self- quarantine for the next 14 days.

“In the abundance of caution, Wolf Creek Golf Club will temporary close. We will be deep cleaning our facility, training our staff on new procedures, and making any other precautionary changes throughout. These changes will further enhance our existing measures and will make our course a safer social distancing sport for all.

“We are monitoring the situation closely with state and local authorities but we aim to reopen the course on April 9, 2020 subject to any compliance mandated by state and local authorities.”
