Georgia Tech has added a former Clemson Tiger out of the transfer portal for the second year in a row. Former Clemson defensive tackle Etinosa Reuben, who was a highly coveted prospect out of high school, announced his commitment to Tech on Tuesday.

Reuben, who comes to Tech as a grad transfer, has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, Reuben played in 30 games and had 318 defensive snaps from 2019-22. He was credited with 26 tackles, including 3.5 for loss.

He’ll compete with returning starters Makius Scott and D’Quan Douse for playing time. Reuben follows two Clemson teammates who transferred to Tech last offseason: quarterback Taisun Phommachanh and offensive lineman Paul Tchio. Phommachanh went in the transfer portal again after appearing in two games this past season.

As a high school prospect from Kansas City, Mo., Reuben was a three-star recruit who drew scholarship offers from Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State, most notably.

Reuben is the 10th player to commit to Tech out of the portal this offseason.
