Georgia Tech freshman wide receiver Ryan King is out for the season, coach Geoff Collins announced Tuesday. King was injured in the Yellow Jackets' most recent game, the Oct. 31 loss to Notre Dame.

King, from Grayson High, was playing in the second game of his career. He was “starting to get a lot of burn (playing time) on special teams, was starting to get a lot of burn on offense,” Collins said.

King is the second freshman wide receiver to suffer a season-ending injury, following Avery Boyd.
