Georgia Tech picked up a commitment Saturday from linebacker Demontrae Gaston from Pensacola (Florida) Catholic High. Gaston, a three-star prospect, announced his decision on social media.

Gaston also has scholarship offers from Wake Forest, South Florida, Memphis and Georgia State, among others. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Gaston announced an offer from Tech in January 2022, his first from any school, then announced in February that he had been offered again by coach Brent Key’s staff.

Tech now has five players committed to the 2024 class. Gaston is the second linebacker, following Jordan Boyd of Aiken, S.C.
