Georgia Tech outfielder Jake DeLeo was recognized by the ACC Monday for his solid performance in four games this past week.

DeLeo was 6-for-12 in Tech’s series win over Clemson at Russ Chandler Stadium, bagging three doubles and two home runs. He additionally walked three times while striking out just once.

The Yellow Jackets took two of three from the Tigers to improve to 16-8 overall and 5-4 in the ACC, tied for third in the Coastal Division. DeLeo also had two hits and two RBI March 21 in a loss to Wofford.

After the weekend, DeLeo was hitting .436 for the season, third in the ACC and 22nd in Division I through Monday. Prior to Tuesday’s games, DeLeo led the ACC in hits (44) and total bases (79) and was second in doubles (11).

Tech is scheduled to play Georgia State at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville Tuesday evening before a road series at Boston College this weekend.
