In a neutral-site matchup, the No. 18 Georgia Tech volleyball team swept Arkansas Thursday to improve to 8-1 and move on to a Saturday home matchup with Georgia.

In Raleigh, N.C., the Yellow Jackets won in three sets, 26-24, 25-18, 25-11. Setter Matti McKissock contributed 28 assists, lifting her into seventh place all-time in career assists with 3,136. The win over Arkansas (8-2) was Tech’s fifth over a power-conference opponent in non-conference play, which the Jackets will complete with their match against Georgia at O’Keefe Gymnasium at 7 p.m.

Tech has won three of the last five meetings and 17 of the last 21 against Georgia (4-6). The two teams did not play last year as both the SEC and ACC played conference-only schedules.
