After one season on the roster, Georgia Tech running back Dylan McDuffie is in the transfer portal.

McDuffie, who transferred to Tech last offseason from Buffalo, announced his decision Friday on social media, saying he was leaving as a grad transfer.

McDuffie came to Tech having rushed for 1,049 yards in 2021 as a sophomore for the Bulls and figured to challenge for playing time in the Yellow Jackets’ revamped backfield. Competing for playing time with Dontae Smith and Hassan Hall, McDuffie finished the season with 22 carries for 45 yards. He had no rushing attempts after the Pittsburgh game as Hall gained a more prominent role in the offense after Brent Key replaced Geoff Collins as coach. McDuffie played in a total of eight games, starting two.

McDuffie has one season of eligibility remaining.
