Georgia Tech will host Mississippi State on Nov. 28 as part of the first ACC/SEC Challenge, it was announced Wednesday.

First-year coach Damon Stoudamire and the Yellow Jackets will welcome a Mississippi State squad that went 21-13 last season and 8-10 in the SEC. The Bulldogs lost to Pittsburgh by a point in a First Four matchup in the NCAA Tournament.

Tech is 16-13 all-time against Mississippi State. The two programs have not met since 1975 and the Bulldogs have not played in Atlanta since 1973.

Also announced Wednesday, Georgia Tech’s women will host Florida on Nov. 29 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Gators went 19-15 last season and advanced to the fourth round of the WNIT.
