Former Milton High School wide receiver Debron Gatling announced Monday on X, formerly Twitter, that he intends to transfer to Georgia Tech for the 2025 season.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Gatling signed with South Carolina last December, but did not appear in a game for the Gamecocks during the 2024 season. He was a three-star recruit, according to the 247Sports Composite, who originally committed to Texas A&M in 2022 before signing with South Carolina.

At Milton High School, Gatling caught 84 passes for 963 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior while also playing cornerback. He was selected to the Under Armour All-America in 2023 and was also named an All-American by MaxPreps after his 2021 season that included 37 catches for 659 yards and 11 scores.

Gatling had more than 200 catches for 2,887 yards and 33 touchdowns during his prep career.

Tech has now received transfer commitments from Gatling and former Eastern Michigan cornerback Daiquan White.
