Georgia Tech announced that kickoff for Saturday’s game at Miami is set for 3:30 p.m.

The original game between the schools was scheduled for Thursday but had to be rescheduled due to Hurricane Irma.

The mid-afternoon game time undoubtedly delights legions of Tech fans. The Jackets had been assigned kickoff times in the noon hour for 11 of their past 12 Saturday games going back to the Vanderbilt game in the third week of last season.

The game will be televised on ABC from Hard Rock Stadium.
