After a successful tryout with the New Orleans Saints over the weekend, former Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas is expected to sign a three-year deal, according to The Times-Picayune Saints’ reporter Herbie Teope.

Thomas will be signed as an undrafted rookie free agent after going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Thomas, 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, worked out as both a wide receiver and a cornerback.

Former kicker Harrison Butker was the only Yellow Jacket drafted in April.

Thomas previously worked out with the San Francisco 49ers, but was not offered a contract.
