Georgia Tech’s Joey Bart projected to be a top 5 MLB Draft pick

Georgia Tech catcher Joey Bart is projected to be the No. 4 overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft by ESPN’s Keith Law.

Bart, a 6-foot-3, 225 pound junior from Buford, was named to the 2018 Baseball America Preseason All-America First Team and a 2018 Perfect Game/Rawlings College Preseason All-American.

In 2015, the former Buford High School catcher was drafted in the 27th round by the Tampa Bay Rays (808th overall), but chose to attend Georiga Tech instead.

Bart is projected to b e drafted after Auburn pitcher Casey Mize, Florida pitcher Brad Singer and Wichita State third baseman Alex Bohm.
