Georgia Tech commit tweets ‘back to Atl’ for homecoming game

Georgia Tech commit Dontae Smith tweeted Wednesday that he will be at the school’s homecoming game Saturday night.

The 3-star running back from Tennessee committed to Georgia Tech in June.

As a junior, Smith rushed for 2,204 yards and scored 21 touchdowns in 2016. Smith finished his game on Oct. 13 with 173 yards and three of Spring Hill's four touchdowns –– on his way to a second consecutive season with 2,000 yards.

Georgia Tech plays Wake Forest Saturday in Bobby Dodd Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
