Georgia State basketball coach Rod Barnes recruited along bloodlines when he announced the signing of Josh Micheaux.

Micheaux is the son of Larry Micheaux, a forward on the Phi Slamma Jamma teams at the University of Houston in the 1980s. The 6-foot-6 swingman averaged 11 points and 5.7 rebounds last season for Lee College in Baytown, Texas.

The fifth member of GSU's signing class, Micheaux will have two years of eligibility remaining.
