Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm was named SEC Freshman of the Week for his performance against Georgia Tech on Saturday.

Fromm matched a career-high of a 75 percent completion rate on 12-of-16 passing for 224 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Yellow Jackets.

Fromm’s next challenge will be a rematch against Auburn in the SEC Championship on Saturday.

In Georgia’s loss to Auburn in the regular season on Nov. 11, Fromm threw 13-of-28 for 184 yards and one touchdown.
