Three Bulldogs were named Associated Press preseason All-Americans, led by senior punter Jake Camarda on the first team.

Camarda made the Associated Press’ third team at end of last season. The SEC’s special-teams player of 2020 averaged 47.9 yards on 31 punts.

Jamaree Salyer, a key figure from Georgia’s offensive line who chose to return for a senior season, and defensive tackle Jordan Davis were named second-team All-Americans. The 6-foot-6, 340-pound defensive lineman projects as a surefire selection in the 2022 NFL draft.

Eight teams — including the Georgia’s first opponent, Clemson — have at least two first-team All-Americans. Clemson’s first-teamer are receiver Justyn Ross, who missed all last season with a neck injury, and defensive lineman Bryan Bresee.
