T.J. Ward might decide to get out of the way the next time Devonta Freeman runs in his direction.

In the second quarter of Atlanta’s Monday night game against Tampa Bay, the Falcons running back bowled over the Buccaneers defensive back on a 22-yard pickup.

Freeman, who averaged 5.9 yards per carry in the first half, blew by the first line of defense into the open field. Once he got to the second level, Freeman eyed down Ward who was coming up from his safety position to stop the Falcons’ running back.

Freeman lowered his shoulder, and subsequently lowered the boom on Ward, gaining a few more yards after the collision.

Needless to say, Freeman won the clash.
